It’s very sad news. Holly woke up at 4.15am today and wouldn’t go back to sleep so I gave in and went downstairs to feed her. I turned on the telly which instantly brings up BBC1 and the news was on. I heard that someone had died and I thought “Oh god, who is it this time”
And it’s Michael Jackson.
[I also learned not long after that Farrah Fawcett also died yesterday but I'd be lying if I said I was much of a fan of hers but still very sad and tragic for everyone close to her]

1. Dirty Diana [the video for this song was on a taped video we had of episodes of Garfeild. It would come on just before Garfield started.
